2006-07-31 [kittykittykitty]: May I try somethng for the page that may help navigation? If you do not like it feel free to return to version 104 and act like I didn't edit a thing ;)
2006-07-31 [kittykittykitty]: Now you can write a link to a specific part of the wiki like at the top... or you can write Dir en Grey Translated Lyrics#MACABRE ([Dir en Grey Translated Lyrics@wiki#MACABRE]) to link from another page :)
2006-07-31 [Whiskers]: Hey, thanks ^^
2006-07-31 [kittykittykitty]: I guess having some HTML restrictions is a good thing :D Means that pages load quickly! ^^ I find this so useful :D I haven't found any sites that have all the translated lyrics, etc. (maybe I've just been unlucky trying to find them), so thanks soooo much for making it ^_^ *glomps upon*
2006-07-31 [Whiskers]: Some of them I got from their actual site when they actually had the lyrics on it, over half are from various sites I found, and the ones from Withering to death. are straight from the lyric sheet that comes with the CD
2006-07-31 [kittykittykitty]: *worships the most comprehensive online DeG translated lyrics page being this wiki* Yay! ^_^ I don't have the withering to Death CD, but the others I have I found the booklets aren't too helpful for me as far as lyrics go... :/
2006-07-31 [Whiskers]: Well, the one that's sold in America for Withering comes with translated lyrics
2006-08-01 [kittykittykitty]: Hmmm... I don't think any of the CDs were released in the UK so there are only imports, meaning I had to buy mine off the internet. Is it the same in the US or were they officially released?
2006-08-01 [Whiskers]: Only Withering has been released in the US domestically. And I read that it's also been released in the UK
2006-08-01 [kittykittykitty]: That might explain why Withering is half the price of the other DeG albums on amazon.co.uk :P
2006-08-01 [Whiskers]: That could be it ^^ It's my 2nd favorite album by them
2006-08-02 [kittykittykitty]: I still can't decide on a favourite form the ones I've heard :D So.. which is your number 1 favourite? :O
2006-08-02 [Whiskers]: In order: GAUZE, Withering to death., MACABRE/VULGAR
2006-08-02 [kittykittykitty]: You don't like Kisou??? :O
2006-08-02 [Whiskers]: Ok, this is what I wrote about it in an essay I wrote on the band: 2001 showed a new side of Dir en grey with the single, "ain't afraid to die," a 7:00+ song that's basic rhythm lies in it's soft piano melody. Then, Dir en grey released their fourth album, "Kisou." Listening to it, you can't help but notice the drastic style changes of each song; "FILTH" is a fast-based hard rock song, "embryo" is a slow melody, "JESSICA" is a fast pop song, and "The Domestic Fucker Family" is a song that is just annoying noises and vocals set to a beat. As one of the songs on the album says, Dir en grey's musical style was "undecided."
2006-08-03 [kittykittykitty]: Variety can be good ^_^ I guess those kind of eclectic albums can be fun, though I see how you don't enjoy that. I love it when I can just put on an album and let it take me somewhere else completely... and every song feels like it belongs exactly where it is. That is a good feeling :)
2006-08-03 [Whiskers]: The album jut gets really annoying after a while. MACABRE and GAUZE rock, though ^^
2006-08-04 [kittykittykitty]: Well I'm nto annoyed by it yet ;) I haven't had it for long, though ^^" Yeah I really like Macabre too... that may be my favourite but I keep changing my mind :D
2006-08-16 [kittykittykitty]: I fixed the problem... weird :/ egnirys cimredopyh + an injection Lyrics was missing an end bracket, but it still linked to the wiki and it messed up the link for HOTARUBI Lyrics
2006-08-16 [Whiskers]: I wondered why it didn't work >.>
Thanks! ^^
