ESC [Hedda]'s Predictions 2007

Not all countries have selected their songs, but here is a first try to list the top 10 songs with help of what I know about the ESC Voting and the songs. I don't get all kinds of music styles, so I have to read comments about those songs, to see if they are good or not.

First we have to do the semifinal (See ESC Hedda's Predictions 2007 semifinal), but I'll make this list as if everyone where in the final.

The top
ESC Sweden It's just a very good song and group. Not my style, but a lot of people like it and After Lordi, this is the natural choise to get something new (that isn't crap).
ESC Switzerland Vampires! Cool! Will get votes from drunk people for sure.
ESC Turkey I don't get it... But some seems to love it.
ESC Russia Cute girl. Boring normal song. Only Russia can get votes for that... It's an OK song though. Maybe it's better if I listen to it more.
ESC Israel Very drunk people will vote for pushing the button!
ESC Poland I don't like it. Melodic female rapp and it's something new and not just a bad pale version of real rapp. Could win, but it's unlikely.
ESC Bulgaria Too much screaming and still not tough enough. Something for the trance dancers though, but I don't think they are that many.
ESC Bosnia & Herzegovina This year's ballad? It will do well, but not a winner.
ESC Montenegro I think they will get the votes from the Yugoslavian people.


Problem songs
ESC Austria will suffer from ESC Montenegro and vice versa. If there would be only one song like this, it would have won, but now with these two and ESC Czech Republic and ESC Sweden, they will steal too many votes from each other.

Halfsorted for now

ESC Austria Very good, might do it to the top.
ESC Romania "Everywhere you go even Italy"... But the song gets boring in the long run. Maybe they can make something funnier out of it.
ESC Czech Republic Metallica copy, but it's not enough to get higher. Might be my favorite, but it just hasn't that finial punsh.
ESC Slovenia Are stealing opera-voters from ESC Latvia. This is nicer though, I think and she's way cuter!
ESC Ireland Irish sounding ballad. Not enough. Will get a few Irish-fan votes, but that's it.
ESC Armenia Why? Why another ballad?
ESC Greece Will get 12 points from Cyprus and some small points here and there, but... The song is OK, but lame.
ESC Spain A band of cute boys... No, sorry, you're not sexy enough. Other songs are in front of you and you'll not steal any votes from them.
ESC Ukraine Just not crazy enough for this year. Will be in the middle even if they sing in German and English.
ESC Albania And don't know which one, but there has to be a better ballad than this! ESC Latvia maybe.
ESC Andorra (Different, but 10 years too late)
ESC Belarus Work your magic? The vampires will do that... He might be extremely good though, but I don't get it.
ESC Croatia Please no! But will get some local ballad lover votes.
ESC Cyprus Numa numa!!! Eh... No it wasn't. This is good, but I don't see fans outside of Greece.
ESC Estonia Nothing special - Few votes. ESC Cyprus above is about the same and way better. But: this this is a powerful song that might attract quite a few people. Not a winner for sure though.
ESC Georgia I don't think anyone is interested in that story.
ESC Hungary Will get 100% of the blues fans' votes. That's about 5 points totally.
ESC Latvia Do we have any opera fans? Not enough, is my guess. Baout 10 points from here and there?
ESC Moldova Cooler than Lordi... For 3 seconds.
ESC Portugal You can Europe call out "NO, NOT AGAIN!". Close to the rock bottom, if it's not there.
ESC Serbia Punchy song without punch... Will get pretty many votes from exil Serbians though.
ESC Lithuania Close to rock bottom. This is just boring. Good song, I don't see anyone voting for it.
ESC Germany Some Germans like it, I've heard... But it will be close to the bottom.

ESC Malta No neighbour-votes + no song = 0 points.

ESC Norway
ESC Finland
ESC United Kingdom I guess they'll send an insult to the contest again... Update: Yes, they did!
ESC the Netherlands

ESC France Will it be French rap? It might work, so Franch still has a chance to leave this bottom place.
