"Well this is my stop." I said when we stood in front of the black gate of my grandparents house.
Cole looked at the house then he looked at me."I'll see you at college, Rose." he give me a small smile that melted my heart.
"Laters, Cole." I smiled at him then I turned to open the gate when I saw my granny standing at the door way of the house. I mentaly groaned cause I knew she was going to embarrass me in front of Cole.
"Rosie! What you doing out here, you'll catch your death out here!" she called. She looked at Cole and gasped softly."Rose Walker you get in this house right now!" She never took her eyes off Cole. I frowned a little woundering if granny had lost her mind.
"Goodbye Rose." he says softly as he looked at my granny then he walked down the street and to his house. I watched him go until I felt granny's hand around my arm dragging me into the house.
"Granny stop draging me." I snapped at the old bat and she let go of me when I was in the house. I saw granny closed and locked the front door. "Granny have you lost your mind as well as your hearing?" I asked her. I knew I was being rude and mean but I didn't care cause she had just shamed me in front of Cole.
Granny turned around and looked at me like she had just seen a ghost, she had that same look when she saw Cole."You will not talk nor go anywhere near that boy, understand Rose?" she said to me. Her voice shook a little as she spoke.
I frowned at her. I didn't understand what she meant. Cole was new here and granny has never lived outside Kelso. So how dose she know Cole? But question would be how dose Cole know my granny? "No I will not, Granny. Cole is kinda my friend."
"You will do as your told young lady!" she snapped which was very rare for granny to do. Well she dose snap aty grandad but she never snaps at me.
"No I won't! Your not my mother so you can't tell me what to do and even if my mother was here I wouldn't listen to her either!" I yelled at her and ran to my room. I slamed my bedroom door. I just turned on my CD player and poped in the Queen of the Damned soundtrack and turned the volume up full blasted.
For once in my life I never went on the internet, I never read my books or did any college work. I just paced around my room in a rage. How dare my granny tell me whom I can and can't be friends with? Why is she acting like this? And what was up with the stairing thing granny and Cole had going on? From the way they where looking at each other it was like they already knew each other which is werid. I wonder how they know each other and I want to know why granny freaked out over Cole. But for now I was going to stay in my room and be a moody teenager.
