history:The duGuant family was a highly respected old family in North Carolina until Ava was nine and things started to happen. A serial killer was on the loose and the police had no leads until a very serious Ava walked into the station and descriped the next murder to a T. After the murder accured the police asked her how she knew, and when she said that the first victim was telling her everything, they didn't want to believe her. However, after five more murders, they finally got a description of the murderer from Ava, and they caught him. The media found out about it and the duGuant family name became a joke. Her parents immidately sent her to a psychiatric hospital, and eventually Sword and Cross school.

She use to get raped by her father and his friends while her mother and brothers did nothing. They said the reason they did that to her was that she was too pure and good. So when raping her didn't work they use to beat her until she snapped and she fought back. Then she was taken away by the socail wokrer and sent into foster care at age 14, and even then she was closed off to people and she would hit anyone that touched her. So after like 10 fosters homes and a criminal record she was sent to Sword and Cross school.
