Raidō has a large scar on his left cheek. He served as the Sandaime Hokage's assistant during the third Chūnin exam. Later he was on the same team as Shizune, Shiranui Genma and Tatami Iwashi. He and Genma confronted the Sound Four who were escorting Uchiha Sasuke to Orochimaru. The Sound Four had to activate their Cursed Seals to defeat them. Raidō was in critical condition after the fight, but was saved by Shizune's medical expertise.
