Tell you a secret
I'm loving your face
And on every cold night
I await your embrace
This picture is perfect
In every way
But the noises you make
They seem to get in the way
And in doubt, I parade
Forward I march, in fame
Your moments of weakness
It shows me your worth
But it poisons the jaw, love
If it quenches your thirst
So pass me the bottle
Before it goes to waste
And before you know it
You're focused in
On the way
And in doubt, I parade
Forward I march, in fame
And your watching me pretend
These devils start a trend
Calibrate this story find
I do this all the time
Hands up, what do you see
When you're laying there with me
We'd stop by my fiend
Faces of torment
They're somehow your best
But how can I do this
After five minutes rest
You plague me with questions
And how I should stay
I tell you to "Shut it"
And remind you world
"By the way.."
And in doubt, I parade
Forward I march, in fame
Oh, love the statement I've made
This song was made in dedication to a friend of mine and his girlfriend. Neither of them love each other but they stay together for fear of hurting each other. To watch them is like watching an act. Their every movement and every words are fake, like a puppet act. They are now engaged and I wish that they would find the love they once shared between them again. They really do make a good looking couple, but they would be a better looking couple if they weren't such great actors.
