Okay, you are probably asking yourself 'What the fuck is a Jackalope?'. well, Here I am to learn you something!


Discription: Jackalopes are Jackrabbits with antlers that resemble those of the white tailed deer (although smaller in size). They can mimic the human voice, just like parrots. They are clever, shy, and can be damaging to crops and gardens. Curious; they often wonder onto human property for food or shelter but are easily startled and will flee quickly.

Habitat: Jackalopes live in grassy areas where their antlers won't get caught up in branches and tangled bushes.

Social Habits: Jackalopes live in groups with a lead male. The rest are subordinates. Jackalopes will allow other rabbits to join their group. Jackalopes mate for life.

Parenting: They make great parents and are very protective. Jackalopes will create a nest of grasses and moss to lay their eggs in. The mother will guard the nest and keep it warm while her mate guards her.

Diet: Jackalopes are strict herbivores, feeding on grasses, flowers, berries, herbs, and more. They will use their antlers to scrape off bark from trees in winter for food. They love berries.

Life_Span: 20-30yrs

Current Status: Uncommon; numbers increasing

Human Pressure: hunting is the Jackalopes most common threat, but they can multiply quickly. They are also very sensitive to chemicals and poisons.

Pets: They make great pets, even if captured later in life. Male Jackalopes can be aggressive at times. But you have to be careful of their antlers. They’re sharp and can be used against you you’re your property you’re your Jackalope in agitated.

Defence: Jackalopes simply run from danger in most cases, for they are extremely swift! But if protecting a mate, or if cornered, they will use their antlers, and if at all possible, they can bite.
