You have 99, and therefore have the wiki-upload button to the right and an invitation-link on Mainstuff.

2009-03-08 [Bookwyrm]: Privs have been around for...quite a while. I believe since Elfpack's creation, or close to it, you'd have to ask [Hedda]. However it's not a "score." Privs are given to people who do specific jobs around Elfpack. Like Guards have the 14 priv so that they can do their jobs. Most of the lower privs (not sure about the iframe one, but up until that one at least) can be obtained if requested. Council or higher require that you have that specific job. :)

2011-12-06 [Stephen]: Privs are assigned to people who need the priv to do their job. ;)

Some Volunteers work at things like Elfpack Jokes, or Featured Poem, and thus they need privs to update Mainstuff. Some Volunteers are also given priv 79, so that they can give out badges depending on what they do. Everything above is a "generalized" statement -- just because someone is for example, a Contest Mod, doesn't mean they always get priv 79.

[Morgoth] is a Volunteer with priv-49, but he's possible to be reinstated on the Council.

Really on the Warden directly decides on new Crew members, although it's normally a group decision.

We don't allow members to have clone house. So it's mostly a way to check that. We also don't allow banned members to come back most of the time (unless it's been a long time), so we keep them out the same way.
