2007-02-18 [FireGypsy]: *spontaneousel
2007-02-18 [somethingwarm]: It actually gets worse a couple of days after you haven't had any, all the phlegm and crap comes up. Haha I thought it was a costume too. You do so much girl!
2007-02-18 [FireGypsy]: Phlegm? I have quit for months and never had anything different occur.
2007-02-18 [somethingwarm]: Oh, if I don't have some for a couple days then start again my throat and lungs get all gross.
2007-02-18 [FireGypsy]: Strange lol
2007-02-19 [DeeJay™]: the hairs in your throat push all the stuff back up :\
2007-02-19 [FireGypsy]: Those hairs are called the "cilia" ^_^
2007-02-19 [somethingwarm]: Aren't those the ones in your lungs
2007-02-19 [DeeJay™]: damn! i knew what they were called, just didnt wanna look stupid if they wern't called cilia :P
2007-02-19 [FireGypsy]: Cilia is in your throat and nose. They help catch and push impurities out of your body ^_^ Wether it be a cough or a sneeze!
2007-02-19 [shinobi14]: ooooooo... someone knows their biology! LOL
2007-02-19 [DeeJay™]: and also eyelashes =)
2007-02-19 [shinobi14]: Errrr... eyelashes??
Meh?
2007-02-19 [DeeJay™]: cil·i·a Pronunciation[sil-ee-uh]
–plural noun, singular cil·i·um
1. Biology. minute hairlike organelles, identical in structure to flagella, that line the surfaces of certain cells and beat in rhythmic waves, providing locomotion to ciliate protozoans and moving liquids along internal epithelial tissue in animals.
2. Anatomy. the eyelashes.
2007-02-19 [shinobi14]: Why thankyou for that. I had no idea that cilia were also eyelashes. ^_^
Good job, [DJ Devil]. XD
2007-02-19 [FireGypsy]: I dont know about you, but my eyelashes dont beat in rhythmic waves XD I think they mean it figuratively. The eyelashes of the body ^_^
2007-02-19 [DeeJay™]: or maybe they do . . when you blink o.O
or maybe the movement is so minute you dont notice :)
i dont notice my throat moving . .
2007-02-19 [FireGypsy]: Your throat doesnt move. There are tiny hairs that are constantly moving ON your throat walls (trachea{sp?}). Eyelashes do keep particles out of your eyes, but they rely on your reflexes to close and blink when a particle is threatening to enter rather than waving on your face to catch anything.
2007-02-19 [shinobi14]: Trachea, dear. ^_^
2007-02-19 [FireGypsy]: Pthhppt! I didn't put that first h in there XD
2007-02-19 [Avrora_Black]: Heyy good luck:D
Personally I don't think it's posible for a person to hold his breath for as long as the videos show, it's absolutely impossible.I have been a swimmer for 3 years (competing and stuff) but I could manage to keep my breath only a minute and a few additional seconds...Mayb
As I can see,you also have to be able to swin the vutterfly style to move your feet with the tail...Cool, but hard to do. Your body wil become really strong after that;)
