"It's alright, you just gave me a start, that's all."

2009-07-30 [Sonya Blue]: "I'm sorry.."  ---  Vixen sat back down, looking up at Gemini

2009-07-30 [Eccentrifuge]: Almas smiled outwardly, but he frowned on the inside. His emotions were all atangle, and he had to sort things out.
"I need to get some answers..." He thought to himself. Aloud he told Gemini,
"Hey, I'm gonna head off that way really quick, see exactly where that woman left to, okay?"

Keva frowned and looked at almas, trotting over to him.

2009-07-30 [Strawboy]: Ahriman had followed the scent of the demons to a building surrounded by a large fance and gate, he saw a demon standing guard at the door. He sighed, about to leave when he saw a temple warrior leave the building. And what is he doing here? Ahriman waited for him to leave sight of the building before approaching Jaro 'And what is one of your kind consorting with demons for?'

2009-07-30 [Sonya Blue]: Gemini nodded slightly looking at him "Alright, I'll be around i guess..." She smiled  ---  Vixen was looking at him, but did not move away from Gemini ~...~

"I'll be back as quick as I can." He said. With that. He turned around and left, his long strides taking him away strikingly quikly. Keva followed directly behind him.

2009-07-30 [Sonya Blue]: Kita and her dragon were not far away, they were not proud of the job Aya gave them to do, and had hid when she came to do their job herself.

Keva froze and growled.

2009-07-30 [Sonya Blue]: Kita was leaning against a building several yards ahead  ---  Zoey stood next to her ~One of those pesky dogs are getting close Kita...~ She had turned her head in their direction

2009-07-30 [Eccentrifuge]: "Keva...?" Almas inquired curiously. All of a sudden, Keva took off in the direction the scent was coming from.
"Keva, wait!" Almas cried as he ran after the escaping fox. As he drew closer to where Kita and Zoey lay hidden, he felt chills shooting down his spine, his intuition crackling warnings at him. He gripped at his staff defensively and started leaning into his run, picking up speed.

2009-07-30 [Sonya Blue]: Kita sighed "Just ignore it Zoe..."  ---  Zoey growled when they started running towards them

2009-07-30 [Eccentrifuge]: Finally, Almas had all but run into them. Turning a corner, he saw Kita standing as though in anticipation of his arrival, and that...that beast of a dragon right next to her. Invariably, Almas growled.
"It's you..."

2009-07-30 [Sonya Blue]: Kita looked over at him "..." She sighed "Back down Zoey."  ---  Zoey stopped growling, and looked away from them

2009-07-30 [Eccentrifuge]: Almas's intuitive senses sent another crackle down his spine.
"You're incahoots with that woman, aren't you? What business do you have with Gemini?"

2009-07-30 [Sonya Blue]: Her expression turned confused "I do not have any business with her..."  ---  Zoey snickered ~Did he just say 'cahoots'?~

"Damn...." He hissed. It was obvious that he was thoroughly miffed.

2009-07-30 [Sonya Blue]: She looked down at the ground "That girl had it coming...you know" She looked at him again "Not that it makes it right..."

2009-07-30 [Eccentrifuge]: Almas stiffened, and he bared his teeth. This dragon girl had it coming if she didn't watch what she said. He couldn't think of a single reason why Gemini or Ari deserved to be attacked.

2009-07-30 [Sonya Blue]: "The elf girl killed Aya's dragon...Aya wants revenge."

2009-07-30 [Eccentrifuge]: Despite himself, Almas felt a twinge of pity for the woman, Aya. He spared a quick glance down at Keva. He briefly imagined for a flash what HE would do if someone killed Keva. The thought alone was extroardinarily painful, and he instantly concluded that he too would wish bloody revenge on the one who had murdered his best friend.
"That...that still isn't right though..." He said quietly, determinedly.

2009-07-30 [Sonya Blue]: "I never said it was right, but Aya has gone mad over the years, so now she wont rest until everyone connected to the elf is dead."  ---  Zoey sighed ~That is why we left her side~

2009-07-30 [Sonya Blue]: She looked at Almas again "Fine, but if anyone attacks us, we will not hesitate to defend ourselves..."

"Excelent! I'll make sure none of my friends attack you." He said. He looked to Keva. ~~Could you run ahead and warn the others? I don't want anybody getting hurt.~~

Keva nodded.
~Of course I can. But, the dragon still gives me the creeps, mind you...~ Keva replied while running ahead.

Gemini had checked into an inn, and was on the way up the stairs to her room  ---  Vixen was sitting outside, waiting on Keva and Almas to come looking for them

2009-08-02 [Lady Kari]: Nearby in an ally under the cloak of her charcoal camouflage, Fidelja crouched. Her tail swiped the air behind her as she heard the exchange. After Kita and Almas came to an agreement, she sauntered away, a little unsettled.

Isa faced Malik squarely, "Sir, when was the last time you were outside these walls?"

2009-08-03 [Sigyn, The Faithful Wife]: Amithi looked around the newest town they had arrived in. She shook her head a little at the way the citizens looked at her; either in fear or hate, but not in welcome.

2009-08-04 [Lady Kari]: "It wouldn't be the first time." A comment trailed in from the hall resonating in an unfortunately familiar voice. Isa looked at Malik, and Carla walked in holding a different set of clothes, followed by Delano. Instantly Isa tensed and unconsciously moved closer to Malik in self-defense.

2009-08-04 [DragonicTunes]: Malik bit the inside of his cheek, "Probably when you were but a small child..." then looked at Carla and Delano

Her eyebrow twitched and she handed Isa her new clothes, "I'll be frank with you, boy, you're sickening, go away"

2009-08-04 [Lady Kari]: "Come on, Carli-baby. It's not like we're completely strangers. I watch you through your chamber window at night." He leaned in, running his fingers across her hip and whispered, "You're a lovely sleeper, by the way."
Isa's eyes widened in disgust as she took the clothes from Carla.

2009-08-04 [DragonicTunes]: Carla tensed up and shuddered, though not in a good way, "M'lord, can I please hit him in the face?"

Malik just stared at the two of them for a moment, unable to really think in the face of what had just happened, "Um...Peon, will you please go and get a jar of ink and brush I left in my study and bring it back here?"

2009-08-04 [Lady Kari]: Noticing Malik for the first time, Delano felt a twinge of embarrassment for not acknowledging him. "Emperor Malik! Of course. My name is Delano by the way, sir." He made a short bow, and turned around to tread our the door.
'No, it's "Peon"...' Isa thought privately.

2009-08-04 [DragonicTunes]: He shuddered once Delano left, "I really don't give a damn what his name is...."

2009-08-04 [Lady Kari]: "I thought his name had already been decided upon..." Isa took care to drop the 'my lord' that seemed to want to flow naturally out of reverence.
When he reentered the room with ink and brush in hand, Delano eyed Isa. "Haven't we met before?"
Rigidly, she nodded.
He squinted, remembering, and a slow grin crept across his face. "Yes, you broke my face."
"With good reason..." she mumbled.
"I have a feeling you're going to reconsider that." When he reached for her hand, she jerked it away. "Oh, hard to get? Don't worry, I always get what I want." He sealed his promise with a wink.
"Ew, stranger danger..." she frowned.

2009-08-04 [DragonicTunes]: Malik frowned and grabbed the ink and brush, quickly wetting the brush in the ink and scribbling something on Delano's face

2009-08-04 [Lady Kari]: "What?" Delano flinched, unsure of what his master was doing. "... My lord?" When Malik backed up, Delano could see the displeased look on his face. Then his vision blurred, and his skin profusely broke out into a cold sweat. Before he knew it, he puked and his head was spinning like someone tied his brain to a wagon wheel. "Wh-What did you-" He puked on himself again and ran out of the room with his hand over his mouth.
Isa looked on with serious concern and looked at Malik after Delano left. "Malik, what did you do to him?"

2009-08-04 [DragonicTunes]: "Simple, I made him appear how vulgar he really is." He closed the ink bottle, feeling a little pleased

Carla shuddered again, "I don't know m'lord, that was a tad childish"

2009-08-04 [Lady Kari]: Still watching Malik, Isa couldn't stifle a giggle. "That was sick..." From down the hall, they could hear a harsh heaving. 'Gross...' she thought, gazing down at the clothes. Then she remembered she had to change. After all, she was technically ordered to.

2009-08-04 [DragonicTunes]: He noticed her look change and nodded a little, "Just like him, now if you'll excuse me," he wandered towards the door as well

She sighed a bit and went after him

2009-08-04 [Lady Kari]: ((For anyone who has seen the picture I used for Isa, you can skip over the huge paragraph between the *'s. :-P))

*As they left, she mumbled, "Thank you." After she closed the door, Isa unraveled a white cloth shirt and some leather garments. First she slipped on the cloth garments and adjusted the black leather garments over them. The shoes were a rough, black cloth she hadn't felt before, but it scarcely mattered. The top graced her shoulders but was otherwise sleeveless. The shorts sported a long, draping piece of material that nearly reached the floor in the back. In the front, a shorter piece of material reached halfway down her shorts.*
Taking note of Malik's dissatisfaction with the dark pink ribbon, Isa pulled it out and let her hair down. When she opened the door, she found him and handed the ribbon to him, not seeing Carla. "Um... I don't know what to do with this."

2009-08-04 [DragonicTunes]: Malik glanced at the ribbon she put in his hand, then sighed and tied it around her upper arm gently, "That color doesn't look that bad on you as long as it doesn't look like it's eating you"

2009-08-04 [Lady Kari]: Isa chuckled. "Thanks..." The bow looked nicer than the knots she tied, but hers were for functionality. "Oh! I almost forgot..." She hurried into the room and selected the possessions and weapons of hers to keep, considering that her outfit was a little more revealing than dusty traveling robes. "Sorry about that," she excused herself, returning as she tied a short sword to her side. "Dang... I'll have to get another wakizashi..." she mumbled to herself.

2009-08-04 [DragonicTunes]: He nodded slightly, "I'll have Carla fish one off one of the guards or something"

2009-08-04 [Lady Kari]: Isa glanced up, surprised. "N-No, it's okay. I can get another someplace." Studying Malik, she asked, "So do these look better?"

2009-08-04 [DragonicTunes]: "Much so, I've been too tired of carbon copy women for too long..."

2009-08-04 [Lady Kari]: Confused, she commented, "Well... aren't we all the same shape? I mean... Well, men of course... aren't..." She blushed a little, her sentence dropping off.

2009-08-04 [DragonicTunes]: He rolled his eyes, "Of course not..."

2009-08-04 [Lady Kari]: Chewing the inside of her cheek, she looked down. There wasn't anywhere for her to go or anything for her to do. Except... plot escape. She glanced up at Malik. For no particular reason the sight of him made it so she couldn't focus on an escape tactic.

2009-08-04 [DragonicTunes]: Malik smiled a little, "Something wrong?"

2009-08-04 [Lady Kari]: "No..." She spoke too quickly, and knew he might suspect something. Well, what did she have to lose with honesty anyway? "Just thinking of how I'm going to get as far away from your empire as possible," she remarked dryly.

2009-08-04 [DragonicTunes]: "Great, maybe I'll come with you"

2009-08-04 [Lady Kari]: Her eyes squinted she laughed so hard at his ridiculous suggestion. "Malik! What would an empire do upon suddenly losing its leader? You're too funny."

2009-08-04 [Lady Kari]: Isa's laughter ceased, and she stared at him, unsure of whether or not he was serious. Clearing her throat, she changed the subject, "So... What do you normally do during the day?"

2009-08-04 [Lady Kari]: "Oh, what do you paint?"

2009-08-04 [Lady Kari]: She hesitated, unsure of how to avoid the situation. "Um... Is there a way we can do this without the removal of my clothing? I don't mean to be impolite, but I'm not comfortable with my image being illustrated..."

2009-08-04 [DragonicTunes]: "What the hell are you talking about? I was gonna paint on you, not paint something of you..."

2009-08-04 [Lady Kari]: "Oh." Somehow it didn't make her feel any better. "Still, without my shirt...?"

2009-08-04 [DragonicTunes]: "The upper back is the easiest place to turn into a canvas, and considering I'm going to be doing this off the top of my head, I don't need it to be more complicated."

Uncomfortably, she cleared her throat and looked away. What he said was so ridiculously laden with sexual innuendo that she wondered how socially challenged he was. Trying to keep a clean mind, she asked, "Where would you prefer to have me?"

2009-08-04 [Lady Kari]: "At the rate this is going, we might as well do it here."

Almas shook himslef, still trying to cast the time shakes from his system.
"I have absoloutely no clue where I've been...! Come along, my companions should be ahead a ways, provided they didn't get caught in the warp as well."
He seemed to be calming down now as he walked along, leading the way.

"They're here to help!" He called in response.

"And if you're not sure what your ailment is, I know of a few tricks that'll fix anything." Shamelessly, he winked.
