"Keva should be by soon, he was right behind me. Oh, there he is!"

Keva emerged from a little distance away, with a kindling sized twig in his jaws.

Almas picked up the last bit of firewood and headed inside the cave and started to build a fire. It was only just coming out of winter, so the nights, even on a warm day, were still brutally cold.

The last thing this little group needed was to tear itself apart from the inside. All the same, he realize it wasn't the brewing dispute that made his skin crawl, or the hair on the back of his neck prickle. Something else, bigger was going on outside the cave.
"Sruthan, Cliff, quiet!" He hissed, reaching for his quarterstaff and gripping it tightly.

2011-03-25 [Eccentrifuge]: Almas growled, then calmed his composure and walked back in. He knew he had no place to feel that way, but Sruthan's advances on Gemini were getting under his skin. He tried to brush it aside to keep the peace.
He smiled and walked back inside.

Mailis and Paws kept an eye on Almas.

2011-03-25 [GlassCasket]: Cliff sighed and left his house. There was a small squabble in his village but he took care of it quickly and there wasn't much of an incident. Cliff i think we should go back to them. Cliff nodded, "I agree. Let's hurry." He said then ran at super speed back to the town that Almas, Sruthan, and Gemini were staying in. He reached the entrance in just a couple hours though it was quite a bit of distance. He stopped and leaned against the post on the town gate, "Maybe i should apologize to Sruthan..." He thought. The only reason he was really being an ass to him is because of his advances on Gemini. He knew Almas had a thing for her and he didn't want some guy she had just met trying to undo what Almas was working on.

Perhaps it was passive-aggressive to say it in such a tone, but he didn't really care all that much.

He sidestepped Sruthan and walked over to her.

2011-04-20 [GlassCasket]: Cliff nods, "Glad to meet you both." He pats his chest pocket, "This is Jeremiah." He said and took another drink, "So have you heard about the dragons?" He asked clearly not caring who heard him.

2011-04-20 [Eccentrifuge]: Almas was about to say something to Gemini when his sensitive ears picked out that Cliff was talking about dragons. Loudly. He stiffened. This stranger might not be trustworthy, and if Cliff somehow put himself at risk, he was risking the safety of the entire group.
He stiffened and Keva growled.

"Talking to a stranger. Talking about dragons. To a stranger"
He knew it sounded gruff and perhaps a bit rude, but he was only airing on the side of caution, and his intuition buzzed unhappily in his gut.

2011-04-21 [Sonya Blue]: She frowned a bit "Well, it'll be his funeral...honestly if he's going to be an idiot, there isn't much we can do...Cliff is going to do what Cliff wants, regardless of what anyone says."

Kita flew over the village, with her companion Zoey. They had heard that a group of chosen had arrived in the village, and her 'master' wanted them 'exterminated'

He took another drink of his whiskey then slipped her a piece of paper, "If you want to know anything come to this address. For now, i recommend laying low...things might soon get messy." He said buttoning his chest pocket with a shaking Jeremiah inside. He stood up and nodded at Chimera after paying for their drinks and leaving some extra on the table before walking out to Almas, Gemini, and Sruthan. He walked over to Almas and whispered so only he and Almas could hear, "You and i both know that there is a dragon here..." He said and took a breath before continuing, "Try to sneak out with Gem and the other guy when i give the signal...Keep an eye on him though..." He finished then patted Almas' shoulder and nodded.

2011-04-21 [Sonya Blue]: They continued flying over the village, Zoey was carefully scanning the ground, looking for any Chosen.
