[Lovers' Lullaby]
Now I lay me, down to sleep,
I pray my love my heart to keep,
If I die before I wake,
I pray my love a breathe to take,
Do not miss me, have no fear,
I am with thee, forever here,
Do not mourn me while I'm gone,
You can kiss me before long,
But here I wake! In your arms!
You kept me, this night, free from harm,
Now, my love, lay down your head,
Lets share our dreams in Love's soft bed.

Down, down,
Even further do I go,
Searching within myself,
For something alive.
Finding nothing,
I return to reality,
Hard and cold as stone.
Deep underneath,
I know I must keep,
This secret so deadly yet frail.
If anyone should know,
Away would I go,
Down into myself again.

Beyond Pain
My cries of pain,
Fall on deaf ears,
As you bring down the hand of fate again.
Tears run,
And screams die,
Both on my lips so pale.
"Oh dear God,
Not again..."
I whisper
As you
Reprimand and beat;
You glare at me
And demand I tell you what I said,
Though I just stare at the discolored spot on your wall.
This only frustrates you more however,
As you grab me,
And snarl in my face,
To the point that I can feel the warmth of your moist breath.
"I just want Dad's gun..."
"Go to Cygnus and be like Sunni..."
I repeat,
Over and over again,
As you bring down the hand of fate once more.

My Future
It's my future,
Not yours,
So stay out of it.
I'm doing my best,
The best I know how,
But still you yell,
And hit,
And curse.
I know you only want what's best for me,
But hurting me isn't the right way to show it...
I'm trying to please you!

But nothing I do,
No work,
No happiness,
Nothing pleases you, Daddy...
Remember when I was little?

So Far Gone?
I'm dead inside,
Bleeding black sorrow.
My once fiery passion,
Hardened and froze.
Time stopped,
O' that fateful day.
Some say I was destined for suicide,
Others pity my putrid soul.
I wish I could express that I'm still here,
Sitting where I always did,
Where I died,
But I know not how.
I wish not to frighten you,
Only to make you aware.
You sadly hang my favorite ornament on the tree and break down.
I reach for your cheek,
Touching you,
Hugging you.
You just walk into your room,
Locking your door like you always did before a cry.
I sigh and sit on the couch,
Making no indention in the cushion.
The house is deserted other then you and me.
I still wish I could hold you,
And tell you I'm alright,
But I can't,
Not until you do what I did...

Candlelight and cheap wine,
An apartment filled with discount furniture,
A baby on the way and no money;
This is Love,

Of its,
Dysfunctional Glory;
A victory,
