From Beast of Blood to Illuminati, Malice Mizer paved the way for almost all Japanese rock bands before it with magnificent vocals by Gackt, Tetsu, and Klaha. Add the genious of main composer Mana, as well as the guitar of the co-founder Közi, the bass line of Yu~Ki, and the drums of the late Kami, and you get one of the most influental J-rock bands of all time.
