I used to want to do graphic design, but then i took a multimedia class and realized I might want to get into game art instead, at the moment I'm not still sure.

if you can't do it now then you will- otherwise just go to a company and ask if you can ghost one of their workers for a few days and see what's it like.

I'd recommend it, that way you can see what they do and learn, and maybe you'll start to get noticed and perhaps they might even ask you to do some layouts and stuff :]
