VERSIONS:

「S」 begins with the sound of a bass drum being kicked eight times and a cymbal being hit twice before Kaoru's guitar begins being played and Kyo yells the first word of the song. It takes the better part of a minute for the lyrics to begin being sung.

「S」 (Z-Z Mix) is remixed by Chris Vrenna, famous for being the live drummer of Nine Inch Nails from 1989-1997. It is more electronic in sound and the sung lyrics are slightly warped in sound.
